This feels kinda wierd because this is the first blog that I have ever written outside of my own computer (Im at the college's computer lab in between classes). Yesterday we finally got my office mostly setup and I moved in! I have my own desk that is actually an antique, a dell computer, and a 17" flat screen monitor. The only thing left is that all the network equipment like the routers and hubs are in the corner on shelves so they said they were going to move it when ever we go to total...

My day so far has been pretty bad. I worked at west marine (my old job) all day long and we barley even had twenty people come in there. With the feeling of exhaustion pouring down upon me like torrential rains, all I could think about was all the stuff that I could be doing instead of wasting time here. Like for example, I had an accounting assignment due today at 12pm so I got up this morning at 6am just to make sure that I could get it done in time before I had to go to work at 7:30. A...

I had a very interesting night, tonight at the mullet festival. People who know me, know what I am about. I am busy and success driven, even though I work all the time I don't really need to, I work out a lot to keep my body in top condition, I eat healthy so I feel good, and I am an over-achiever. All of these traits and more drive me to be the person that I am and if people don't like it, well.........I guess don't hang out with me. Proudly, this is the way that I was raised by my mothe...

Both feeling happy and sad, Sunday was my last day of being inventory manager at west marine. The times spent there will always be remembered as my first management position. In fact sunday, which was the day of our inventory, was a long day for which I worked from 9:45 in the morning till 10:30 at night without a single break! whewww...that was my second and last inventory that I will ever do because even though it did go well, it is a ton of stress and preparation to make all things happ...

Well, the idea started about a week ago when ever my hetero life mate D.B. called me up and said I am going to have the greatest social gathering in the entire history.....I am going to have a Toga party!! To some people this may seem like a lame idea but to actually get around 100 people dressed up in togas is quite a feet. Since the power was out at the place we went, we brought lanterns and teaky torches to light the way, which I might add made a great affect. But just the fact of see...

Indeed, I find it truely amazing how things change and innovation continue to be apart of our everyday life, regardless of cost, time, or life. In just the blink of an eye the enviroment for which you have become familiar with unmercifully changes into something that is complete opposite. It even shocks me how someones feelings for you can change like vapor being blown away. One minute you find that someone has entered into your life and wants to be with you and the next moment they want n...

Saturday was one of the most peculiar days that I have encountered in quite a while. Besides having to work from 7:45-5:15, in one night my girl friend at the time had decided to break up, I went out to the seafood festival with a bunch of people that I barely knew, and then defy all morals that I have about going to clubs. Well, the breaking of relations with the girl friend was mutual between us. In fact, I could say that I could have seen it coming from afar just because tha...

At times we all have our "blonde" or "senior" moments but recently I have had a huge one that smacked me in the face. Infact, if it was a snake, it would of bit me! Here's how it goes. During the summer a friend of mine introduced me to his GF's best friends and so we had talked for awhile but nothing ever resulted from it. She was very pretty and seemed to be a really nice girl, but no offense her intellectual level was not all that great. No doubt though, a good kid. When I walk a...

As I wrote earlier in the week my cousin that goes to UGA and is from virginia finally arived thursday night and I must say that in the little time that we have spent together I think that she is really awesome! Just the words to describe her lack all structure. She is a social heavey weight that has an awesome outgoing personality and impressive charisma skills. She does has some bad habbits that I want to help her break, but other than that everything about her is awesome. One thing tha...

Today being the first day back in class because of the storm, I expected the teachers to freak out about how much time we have missed but in all acutality one of my teachers canceled a test we were supposed to have! Also, my World Civ teacher for who I am not very fond for, she told us today that all the stuff that we have done up to this point she is just going to drop and it is kinda like we are going to be starting like a fresh new semester! I mean I was very baffled when ever she said t...

As you can tell it has been awhile since I have posted because of Hurricane Ivan which knocked out my power from Wednesday night all the way till sunday morning. On this experience I could easily write a novel on the past four days but I will just some it up and give you the gist of what exactly happened. As far as actual events goes, for the four days I did not have power I was very privalaged to work with the Bruner family on Okaloosa island when the law enforcement would not allow any...

This was half way adressed in an article earlier but in not as much depth or detail.....In bible study tonight we talked about a very complex question which is the position of women in marraiges. Traditionally from the beginning of written record until the 1950's women have been submissive to there husbands sometimes in a bad way and sometimes in a good way. Since the women rights movement the gender wars have fought for equal opportunity in the work place, equal wages, and tons of other st...

wheather or not people deny or accept it, role models play a very important role in society because they bring out what everyone wants to be like. Of course there are bad role models like some professional athletes or priests of a satanic cult, but there are also some good role models like some world leaders and other well known people. But beyound the national spot light, we have recently lost a local role model who has inspired us to participate with youth, be more involved with our famal...

How often is it that you would find someone like myself up at 1:15am??? Almost never, unless I am suckered into by some means. I am a person that likes to get to bed early and rise early so that I can take care of business in the morning and then play in the afternoon but tonight I am having late night anxiety and I just feel like venting and being really straight foward with myself. I was pondering upon a random subject the other day and I came up with one of the many true deffinitions ...

First, as a disclaimer I just want to say that I am not adressing to one person. This is just a generalization. Tonight something struck me....why can't people communicate. If broken down to the very core meaning, communication is the very object that has brought us from four legs to two legs and two hands. All the way from primate to homosapien. The ability to communicate and share ideas in its purest existance is the very thing that is responseble for the development of society. But w...
