Sick & tired of this
Published on September 1, 2005 By Joshua Price In International
If anyone recalls, when ever the Tsunami hit Asia every one started booing and hissing because America didn't give billions of dollars of relief funds immediatley. Well what happens when America has natrual disastor??? I haven't heard of a single country give us help once after this disaster. Anyone want to prove me wrong?

The only thing that I have heard is Nissan and Toyota are giving cars. What I'm talking about is Government of other countries...

Canadian here. I gave generously to 911 disaster relief and will give again generously to Louisiana victims. My government seems to be on board too:

Joshua you need to do a little reading. Both Great Briton AND Germany have pledged money. And as of today....France too.

Well, the tsumani was much bigger in scale, and it hit an area of the world that didn't heve near the resources needed to start the cleanup, while this disaster occured in the richest country in the world.

That being said, I read in the paper today that the Manitoba (population 1.17 million) government is donating $100,000.

And this has exactly what to do with help from other nations? What the US is rich so they shouldn't need help? You know the help doesn't need to come in the form of money, right? How would you feel if when the next disaster happened somewhere and the US decided their help wasn't needed? Not that we would or should.
