This site is a synopsis of a young adults life.
Today was a pretty good day. I still fill bummed out about certain things, but on an overall scale things are starting to balance out. One of the contributing factors was several conversations that I had with several different people. It was kind of peculiar in a fashion because we never started on the same topic but we just ended up somehow on the same topic each time. Each time the main subjects were Passions and Gifts.

Today someone mentioned a passage in the bible, 1 Corinthians chapter 12 and I think it was verse four that stuck out a lot. "there are different kinds of gifts, but the same spirit. There are different kinds of service but the same Lord." For some reason or another, this verse caught my attention, but I kept on reading. Then at work we started talking about passions and that is where things started connecting.

If you think about it we all have some type of passion for something. Whether it be for someone or something, it usually is something that ferments strong feelings of longing and desire. Often though, individuals seem to ignore their passions and continue pursue things that are not fruitful in their own personal journey known as life. And with this generated questions that I think almost all people should deeply contemplate.
1. What can you enjoy talking about for many hours?
2. Do any of your hobbies involve working with a lot of people?
3. What type of concerns preoccupy your mind throughout the day?
4. Who out there in the world have you come to care about the most? WHo do you most want to help, enable, or reach? (This question is open for much interpretation depending on one's own level of development in life)

What many people fail to understand is that in their trek along the path of life we forget to stop and notice the beautiful scenery that is around us. With doing this you start to notice the details of objects which leads you to a new type of self discovery that is bound to enfold many new interests that have never been explored.

If you are not much for doing self-inventory, here is a basic question that will start a process in you...."WHAT FIRES YOU UP?" This question applies to good and bad responses. Personally, what fires me up is a good conversation about business or economics...on the other end another thing that fires me up and makes me happy is quality time. Is sharing something with someone else. Naturally, these are also some of my strongest passions. My encouragement for those out their is to pursue their passions in logical, productive ways. You'll find that life will be on the brighter side! Best Wishes, Joshua Price
