She got married in less than six months!
Published on May 2, 2006 By Joshua Price In Life Journals
I really can't believe this. I just found out that the girl who I was in my last serious relationship with for over a year got married Saturday. This literally blows me away! We dated serriously for over a year and were so into getting married to the point where we were informally engaged...yet less than six months later she is running off with someone else. Does anybody else think this is a little fast?!? I mean I guess I could be optomistic about it and say that she found "the one" but even in today's society with divorce rates for first time marraiges peaking at 70% I think everybody needs to be a bit weary of jumping into vows that could have great reprocussions. I guess you could also say that I'm jealous, and you are probably a little bit right. There is a part of me that says I will never go back to her even if she begs but then there is another part of me that feels like I should be in his shoes. Another twist in the road of life that you don't really want to go down but are forced to do so regardless...Just have to make it through another day.

Best wishes, Josh Price

No, I don't find this surprising. My sister met a man and they will get married in July. The met in October. Granted, she didn't have some heavy relationship before.

I know quite a few people who have done this actually. So far, they are all still married.

I don't know how old you are. Maybe you are in your early 20's. The people I know who did this are in their 30's and are quite clear what they want in a relationship and when both parties find it in each other... great!
