songs....

Music is truly amazing. I find that it is music that conveys thoughts and emotions that we often times can't explain. Sometimes I find that when ever you are either down in the slums or up in cloud nine, there is always a song that matches. I think this one is appropriate.

I miss the look of surrender in your eyes
The way your soft brown hair would fall
I miss the power of your kiss when we made love
But baby most of all

I miss my friend
The one my heart and soul confided in
The one I felt the safest with
The one who knew just what to say to make me laugh again
And let the light back in
I miss my friend

I miss the colors that you brought into my life
Your golden smile, those blue-green eyes
I miss your gentle voice in lonely times like now
Saying it'll be alright

I miss my friend
The one my heart and soul confided in
The one I felt the safest with
The one who knew just what to say to make me laugh again
And let the light back in
I miss my friend

I miss those times
I miss those nights
I even miss the silly fights
The making up
The morning talks
And those late afternoon walks

I miss my friend
The one my heart and soul confided in
The one I felt the safest with

I really like that one. The next one I heard when ever I was spending time with her this weekend. I know it is kind of girly but it really hit me hard when ever I heard it with her.

Everybody's got something they had to leave behind
One regret from yesterday that just seems to grow with time
There's no use looking back or wondering
How it could be now or might have been
Oh this I know but still I can't find ways to let you go

I've never had a dream come true
Till the day that I found you
Even though I pretend that I've moved on
You'll always be my baby
I never found the words to say
You're the one I think about each day
And I know no matter where life takes me to
A part of me will always be with you

Somewhere in my memory
I've lost all sense of time
and tomorrow can never be cos yesterday is all that fills my mind
There's no use looking back or wondering
How it should be now or might have been
Oh this I know but still I can't find ways to let you go

I've never had a dream come true
Till the day that I found you
Even though I pretend that I've moved on
You'll always be my baby
I never found the words to say
You're the one I think about each day
And I know no matter where life takes me to
A part of me will always be

You'll always be the dream that fills my head
Yes you will, say you will, you know you will
Oh baby, you'll always be the one I know I'll never forget
There's no use looking back or wondering
Because love is a strange and funny thing
No matter how I try and try I just can't say goodbye
No no no no

I've never had a dream come true
Till the day that I found you
Even though I pretend that I've moved on
You'll always be my baby
I never found the words to say (words to say)
You're the one I think about each day
And I know no matter where life takes me to
A part of me will always be
A part of me will always be with you

Anyways, that will be enough for now. I have to go to class.

Best Wishes, Josh Price

Hey There,
I'm glad to see that you are doing ok. I never really had the chance to ask how you were liking it in Tallahassee. I got a new AIM and forgot to add your SN. We need to keep in touch more, you've always been one of the only people I look up to and your not much older than me. It surprises me that I can look up to someone so young but I know that if I can it means there are so many great things about you. I have always had faith in you, even when people described you to me as being something your not, I still went with my gut feeling and believed in my thoughts of what kind of person you are. Next time you are home for a good while, we need to get together and hang out, it would be nice to talk to someone that actually has a brain and isn't wrapped up in things that don't matter. Talk to you soon. And remember you always have a friend right here.
